William Schoenl is professor emeritus of history at Michigan State University, where he taught for 45 years. His recent publications include Jung’s Evolving Views of Nazi Germany: From 1936 to the End of World War II, Journal of Analytical Psychology, 59(2), (April 2014) and An Answer to the Question: Was Jung, for a Time, a “Nazi Sympathizer” or Not?, Jung Journal, 6(4), (Fall 2012). His books include C.G. Jung: His Friendships with Mary Mellon and J. B. Priestley and Jung’s Evolving Views of Nazi Germany: From 1936 to the End of World War II.
